Belle Air
Belle Air sh.p.k. is a limited liability company with entirely Albanian share capital. It was licensed on May 2005 and registered with the Commercial Register on 09.06.2005, with court decision no. 33637 and NUIS K5181700T.
The company has been operating in the air transport market in Albania since 1 March 2006 and has served 23 scheduled destinations.
The Air Operator's Certificate and the Operating License have been granted to the Company by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Albania. In 2012, the Company received approval for the EASA Part M certification and during 2013 it began the process of obtaining EASA Part 145 certification which would allow the Company to conduct aircraft base maintenance operations. In April 2012, the Company successfully passed the IOSA certification and since November 2010 Belle Air became a member of IATA.
The Company’s mission since its establishment was to increase and develop the air transport market between Italy, Greece and other European countries with Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia, enabling connections by air, providing qualitative services and low fees in order to be transformed into a regional leader.
Key developments since the Company’s establishment were:
On 28 December 2005 the Company conducted the first commercial flight: Charter to Sharm El Sheikh.
On 1 March 2006 it began regular flights in 7 destinations in Italy with one aircraft.
On December 2006 other aircraft types F100, ATR42-300 and BAE 146-200 were contracted and 7 new destinations were opened.
In 2009 fundamental changes were made in the development of the fleet, focusing on two main types of aircrafts: Airbus and ATR 72-500.
During 2009 the company introduced into its fleet two Airbus aircrafts, A320 and A319 as well as one ATR72-500.
During 2010 one Airbus A319 and one ATR72-500 were added.
During 2011 the Company added one Airbus A319.
During 2013 it added one Airbus A319.
In 2009, the Company invested in Belle Air Europe s.r.l., an Italian company established in accordance with the Italian right, with registration No. REA, no. AN-186853 C.F. and fiscal code 02432460422. The purpose of establishing Belle Air Europe was to develop regional air lines which were not served by other operators in the Adriatic area towards the Balkan region, and precisely flights from Italy to Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia.
